The PenTex Energy Levelized Billing Plan is available to qualifying residential members of the Cooperative who desire to pay an average amount each month.

Your average monthly payment will be determined monthly by averaging the most recent 12 months of billing history, including the current month’s billing. Because this is a moving average, your monthly bill will normally fluctuate slightly depending on your history and current usage.

To qualify, the following conditions must all be met:

  • Residential consumers only
  • 12 months of history on the account
  • No balance on the account
  • No more than 2 delinquents in 12 months
  • No cut-off notices in the last 12 months

Terms of this Levelized Billing Plan require all payments to be made on time. If payments are not received by the due date, the plan is subject to termination. If the plan is terminated, all balances are due and payable at the time of termination.

Bank Draft Billing Plan

PenTex’s Bank Draft Billing Plan lets you authorize us to draft your checking or savings account for payment of your electric bill seven (7) days after the bill date. That saves the hassle of delivering it in person or mailing it – and ensures you’ll never pay a 5% late fee.

To participate in our PenTex Bank Draft Payment Plan:

  • Complete a Bank Draft Authorization form  – click the application, print and fill out, and return to the cooperative.
  • Sign up for Bank Draft Online – (found under the payments tab of the customer portal).
  • Or contact one of our Member Service Representatives at (940) 759-2211 to have authorization information mailed to you.
  • Your statement will indicate “Draft Amount” on each monthly statement.

Cycle 1 – your account will be drafted approximately on the 19th of each month.
Cycle 2 – your account will be drafted approximately on the 25th of each month.
Cycle 3 – your account will be drafted approximately on the 1st of each month.
Cycle 4 – your account will be drafted approximately on the 7th of each month.
